Electronic music has been around for decades and its popularity has grown significantly in recent years. Deep house music is one of the most popular genres of electronic music, and it's gaining more attention every day. This blog post will explore the unique characteristics of deep house music and provide catchy titles that capture the essence of this genre. By discussing the history, sounds, and current trends in deep house music, readers will have a better understanding of why this genre is so captivating.

Absolutely, let's talk about deep house! Deep house is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the 1980s in Chicago, Illinois. It is characterized by its soulful and atmospheric sound, often featuring smooth basslines, melodic chords, and a slower tempo than other dance music genres. One of the key elements of deep house is its emphasis on creating a mood and atmosphere that is conducive to relaxation and introspection. This makes it a popular choice for more intimate and laid-back settings, such as lounges, cafes, and private gatherings.

One my favorite all time classics is Can you feel it? by Larry Heard, also known as Mr. Fingers; Larry laid the ground for the definition of deep house, deep house means soul,

feeling, depth and instrospection, something that comes from within.

At first when I was experimenitng with sound I felt the urge to feel deep, within, that was the essence of the exercise of doing music, feel in contact with myself as a being, and being is movement.

My latest release , under the alias, Revol, Cabasa 787 explores that essence, its a expression of the begining. The begning of a journey, and that journey always involves choices, is like coming back to essence, trying to express the place of within.

Now there are a lot of trends that claim to be deep house, and house in its essence a feeling, no doubt about that, but house is a soul thing. I invite you to explore my interpretation on deep house music. I've preprared a playlist of some of my deep house songs, there are more of, but in essence this 11 represent more of that depth, weather it is deep, progressive, or melodic, it's housemusic.

What's your favorite aspect of deep house? Do you have any favorite artists or tracks that you recommend? Let's keep the conversation going!
